Smooth Bottom - Small Part (IMAGE UPDATED)

I am trying to print a very small part (about 1.5 cm tall x .75 cm wide). See attached.

I assume I have the extruder settings fouled up as I cannot get a nice flat/smooth bottom. Instead I can easily see the lines of filament running inside the walls.

Any thoughts on how to spread the filament out so I can a nice smooth surface on the bottom?

It looks like the extruder may be starting too far away from the bed. Maybe try setting your global Z-axis offset to -0.05mm?

See the "Nozzle starts too far from the bed" section on this page:

Have you calibrated your extrusion multiplier?

If that is all set, you can set up a process for the first layer with a higher extrusion multiplier to fill things in a bit better.
