Free update was promised
One free update was promised years ago and now, after waiting several years, I must pay for that update. Nope! I've moved on to the *free* Prusa Slicer and I'm quite happy with it.

Well, from version 4.0 to 4.1 and so on are free updates. They gave you your free updates already. I you had just purchased it recently on the last version 4 release, then 5 would have been free. Try to go to the car dealership and see if they will give you a new car as a free upgrade. Simplify3D is better, so if you do not want to pay the modest Version 5 upgrade fee, the don't. Simplify3D rocks in was others can not compare to. Why people are so proud of cura and prusa slicer is beyond me.
Version 5 is awesome, get it, and if you do not like it they will give you your money back. They earned the upgrade fee with this new version.
They do not make or sell printers, they just make a a kick butt slicer. Don't get it, you loss.
