That's a neat idea of using 4 or so dense infill layers, but then only 1 top solid layer allowing you to customize the speed for that very top layer only.
We definitely have a documented feature request for adding more top layer control, so we're looking into that separately, but it's a neat idea for a workaround with the current version!
