(re)activation required

Just went to run S3d and it asked for my license key. Entered it. It failed. Is this common? What do I do?

Re: (re)activation required

the license shouldnt fail unless you already have it installed on 2 computers. if you have used both installations of the software you need to contact support so one can be deactivated. its rare but i have heard of this happening in the past.

The thing is I'm not reinstalling, just running the application. I've also redownloaded it and it accepts my key on the download page (also rejects a made up key, just to test).

It is installed on my laptop too, and it runs on that, so it's only the original machine that has stopped working. I'm pretty furious actually. Pretty much nothing winds me up more than half witted license issues.

mine did the same thing with the last update. hope this new update fixes that situation. my regular printer does not have internet access normally so when it goes online for verification it wont load simplify 3d

This just happened to me also
I ran it 2 days ago with no problem and today it asks for the key and then fails because it thinks there it is installed on too many machines.

Re: (re)activation required

I had the same issue. I sent an email to [email protected] and they reset everything.
