No support in small holes

I am unsure if this is already a feature and I am unable to find it.

When I make parts, I have to remove the support from the small holes while keeping support in big areas. Is there a way to tell Auto Support to not put support when there is a short span/bridge?

I make a lot of parts with pinholes that dowel pins go into so I can secure the two parts together. The pinholes are about .125" in diameter and the printer has no problem with no support on these holes but getting support out of these smaller holes is difficult.

With my work it is okay to extremely difficulty to manually drill or pull the support out of the small holes, but a "do not auto support on spans shorter than 1mm" would be a setting I would like.

Re: No support in small holes

You can change the support placement to "from build platform only". That will skip making supports in any of the holes and only create the larger ones that make it all the way down to the bed.

Re: No support in small holes

I do the 'built from platform only', but sometimes there are large sections that need support inside the part.

As well, the build from platform is still an issue. I have holes on the bottom face I have to clean out or manually remove from the auto-support. I am now in the habit of putting a 60° cone on the holes so there is no auto support, but that is a bad fix to this problem and why I am asking about this issue.
