Can't correctly set Ooze rate in 2.2

It defaulted to 100mm/sec, which is obviously wrong, and it won't let me set it to anything finer than 0.1mm. I had it set to 20mm/minute in v2.1.2, which should be ~0.33mm/sec, but the closest I can get it 0.2 or 0.3, and when I save and go back it's been changed from 0.3mm/sec to 18mm/sec (0.1mm gets changed to 6mm).

Re: Can't correctly set Ooze rate in 2.2

since your using that feature and what it does exactly seems to be a mystery, is there anything you can share on how you feel it works? i have tried it a few times and it seemed like it just decreased flowrate. basically the same as turning down the extrusion multiplier. are you seeing the same effect?

Re: Can't correctly set Ooze rate in 2.2

It apparently does nothing in this version. The GCode produced is identical no matter what the setting is, other than the comment at the top saying it's on or off and a value for it. No actual changes to the GCode itself.

did it make a difference in 2.1.2? its been a long time since i tried this feature but i seem to remember it cutting down the flow rate but i never did any checking of the gcode to confirm.

Re: Can't correctly set Ooze rate in 2.2

I thought it did for me, but I could never verify it because 2.1.2 didn't produce the same code every time you sliced. I have another post on this behavior - search for "deterministic". It seems to be fixed on 2.2.0.

I would expect it calculates the ooze amount on no-printing moves and ad that amount to the normal retracting setting, not that I know anything about that but that would make sense to me
BTW, first post here, hallo! - been doing a lot of reading on the forum and learned a lot from you guys, thank you!
