Simplify 3D has been working flawlessly since I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, up until a couple of days ago. I now receive "Error isolating temporary directory for G-Code conversion" whenever I try to begin printing over USB to my Makerbot 5th Generation. Does anyone have any idea could cause this error?
I received this reply from Simplify3D, and it worked:
" It sounds like there may be some leftover files that are causing trouble with the file conversions. To remedy this, we just need to make sure any leftover files are deleted. First go to the Control Panel, select Folder Options, and make sure that "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" is enabled. Next, browse to C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Simplify3D\Creator. Please delete any files in that directory. At this point, you should be able to reopen the software and start converting files again."
