BUG: Reduce print speed for excessively high flow rates, not working

Good afternoon,

I went to a .8 mm nozzle and quickly realized I needed to adjust my speeds to no overrun my hotend which can only do about 15 mm3/s.
I was delighted to see the feature "Reduce print speed for excessively high flow rates" and set it for 13 mm3/s.

However it didn't seem to do anything. I was still getting 100mm/s speeds which with .8mm nozzle by .3mm layer is 24mm3/s .

I'm not sure if it didn't work at all anywhere, or just didn't work for some features like brim? On the 2nd layer of brim it was running 100mm/s when it should have throttled down to like 55mm/s . I searched through the gcode and saw lots of 100mm/s speeds so its not just the brim that it was doing it on.

I just did several tests on my end, but everything about this feature seems to be working correctly. Keep in mind that this just controls the flow rate for printing movements. You may still see different flow rates for things like wiping. For example, if you go to Edit Process Settings > Advanced tab, and disable the "perform retraction during wipe movement" option, do the flow rate colors look correct?

This feature does not work for single extrusions. As far as I can tell it does apply to most other features, but it does not limit single extrusions flow rates. Not sure why this would be the case, seems like a strange oversight

I just tested out several small parts with single extrusions, and the setting definitely worked for me! For example, if I kept turning down the maximum extruder flow rate, I eventually saw that all of my features (perimeters, infill, AND single extrusions) started getting slower accordingly.

Keep in mind that the single extrusions might be pushing out less plastic than a normal perimeter. That means they might start slowing down later than the perimeters as you begin decreasing the max flow rate, since they were already extruding less plastic to begin with.
