Simplify3d Nozzle Temperature issues

Hello,
I just got my A350 yesterday, and I'm really impressed with the default vase print using Luban.

I'm trying to slice with Simplify3D, but the resulting G-code isn't setting the temperature correctly. When I first load the G-code, the touchscreen shows the right temperature on the summary screen, but when I start the print, the nozzle temperature doesn't work properly. It displays “20/0” for the nozzle (the bed temperature is fine), indicating there's no nozzle temperature set. I can manually set the nozzle temperature, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

I really like how the Luban G-code warms up in the bottom left corner, extrudes a bit, and then wipes it off as it moves to the starting position. I'm considering finding that G-code and adding it to the starting sequence in Simplify3D. Has anyone tried something like that? Do you think it will work well?

Re: Simplify3d Nozzle Temperature issues

For many of our printer profiles, the machine will heat the bed first, and then when that's done it heats the extruder. That way the nozzle is heated and oozing for several minutes while the bed slowly heats up. If you wait for the bed to finish heating, does the extruder then start heating afterwards?

If that doesn't work, it might also help to look at the top of your gcode file for the typical M104/M109 extruder heating commands.
