Starting point is not constant

Hallo all. I try to print a circular object with constant starting point. The problem is that starting position point on the print is not the same but it chamges over the layers whatever setting i tried. Almost the same happens with rectagular objects it wants always to stick in a corner.

Re: Starting point is not constant

I made some more tests with simple circle ring objects and i noticed that if the polygons are not to many everything is fine. The more polygons you have the start point makes more errors. V 5.1.2

Can you attach a factory file demonstrating the issue?

Re: Starting point is not constant

I've encountered this many times. Simplify isn't the brightest bulb so it can only start a line on an edge of a model. I'd suggest you import a cylinder, change the scale until it looks like a single tall thin line, align that to where you want the seam to sit, then copy that cylinder's coordinates to the start coordinates in your settings. It may also be worth looking a the wireframe of your model to see if there is a location that has a single edge that spans the entire height of the part.
