I have a need for my own prime towers. This built in one is not working well enough for my needs.
I am printing PLA and PETG in a dual head printer.
I have made my own prime towers for each head. The right (process 1) is for a PETG (T0) prime tower and the left (process 2) is for a PLA (T1) prime tower.
I want the slicer to always slice from the prime tower processes FIRST for each tool head, and then print the model process parts for that tool head.
I have 3 processes. The first 2 processes are 2 prime towers. The 3rd process is the model.
Each layer is always printing extruder T0 before extruder T1. This is consistent, and this is what I need.
However, the processes don't print in order. For extruder T0, I want process 1 (PETG head T0), then process 3. For extruder T1 I want process 2 (PLA T1) and then process 3.
I can't seem to make it print in the order I need. It randomly flips the order, printing process 3 first sometimes, which I never want. I have it as process 3 so that it does it last, but I can't get Simplify3D to honor that order. There should be a way to do this. I need this to work.
Is there anyway to do this?
