Extra Restart amount wanders between processes

I'm running parts on a Creality K2 Plus.
My parts are thin-walled cylinders that have only one perimeter inside and outside.
I use negative values in the extra restart to fine-tune the retraction and get clean walls.
This value is speed dependent.

I'm still learning these machines and getting them dialed in.

Small parts need to build slower as they overheat if run too fast.

In my template file I have a MAIN process and a SLOW process.
I can run multiple small parts on a single plate with the SLOW process which has a -0.10 extra restart.
I can run multiple large parts on a single plate with the MAIN process which has a -0.23 extra restart.

Last night I tried a mixed build with small parts running the SLOW process and large parts running the MAIN process.
The small parts were full of pock marks, which means they were not getting the correct extra restart. The large parts looked OK. When I saw the small parts I expected to see blobs on the large part, but I did not.

Clearly the small parts did not get the -0.10 restart at all start points.

Factory file with parts is too large to attach. If a file with very small test parts or an empty factory would be of any value, happy to attach that.
