Different parameter on different region (not on layers range)

Bonjour,

I would like a 100% infill on a small region on the end of my stl.
I tried to cut my stl on two part for applied two "process" different parameters.
But i have now a separation between the two regions, on outline perimeters.
Is there a solution for this please ?

Merci

I don´t know if is possible or not, I think no. But try to subtract a little slot, about 0.05mm or less, separated from the edges the number of perimeters you are working multiplyed by 2... you are using 2 perimeters, then keep 1.6mm from all the perimeters. This will force the perimeters to return to the center of the piece and fill in what you need. Leave at least 0.8mm on one side. You can start and end this slot over and under your estimated bottom and upper layer (for example, for 3 layer up and down at 0,2mm,put the slot between 0.6mm from the base and keep under 0.6mm of the top.

I draw the slot on your image in yelow.

have a nice day

There is not a way to do this in simplify. The process system is not set up to handle the merging of multiple models in the way you need. I would recommend you use a slicer with volumetric modifiers such as Cura or Orca.

Re: Different parameter on different region (not on layers range)

Bonjour,

Thank you for your answers .

@rajazo I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to explain to me
The slot that I should make should not open at the top and bottom of my part, is that it?

@Mitchell_VonB I will try to find out about the Orca or Cura software.

Thank you again.
