Slice Glitch

I am experiencing a problem with the S3D slicer where every file I upload results in a random split or line appearing at the same height. This issue is quite frustrating, as I have projects that need to be completed, but the prints are consistently marred by this unwanted defect. Unfortunately, I cannot share the file due to a non-disclosure agreement, but I hope that a partial screenshot will illustrate the issue. Is there a cache or similar component within the software that might need to be cleared to resolve this problem?

Re: Slice Glitch

There might be some mesh issues in this model. Version 5.1 used Positive Fill by default, while this does work with a lot of models there are plenty of cases where it does not work as well. This is why we implemented the Alternating Fill AND Positive Fill option. Try using 'Alternating Fill' in the Slicing Region Repair Mode for your model and see if the problem gets resolved.

Re: Slice Glitch

I tried all the combinations in the "slicing behaviour" option in version 5.1. None of it fixed the issue. I ended up giving up on using the S3D slicer because of this error being unresolvable.
It was disappointing to swap slicers because of this glitch.
Hopefully your team will resolve this in the next update...I am hopeful that an updated version will be coming soon.
