I'm pretty new to 3D printing and have just started getting my feet wet with a new Duplicator 4S and Simplify3D. Since day 1 I have experienced issues with circles that look more like decagons, or some other polygon. I know all of these programs (and the firmware that they talk to) do not support actual circular moves. I come from a CNC world, so the mere fact that there aren't any G2 or G3 commands is...strange. Regardless of that, I would imagine that I should have control over how "fine" a circle is printed through the amount of linear segments I allow. Obviously this would drive code size, but printing a circle where I can clearly count the "flats" isn't acceptable. I've been through the documentation for Simplify3D as well as searched the forums (and the overall web) without finding any mention of this variable parameter. Could somebody enlighten me please??
Thanks
