Change graphics for me, don't make me reslice.

I've got a large print bed. So when I needed 36 character pawns I loaded up my print bed and hit "Prepare for print". Each model is detailed had about 7000 faces each. It was one of the only times I've seen Simplify3D pause while processing. When it finished it told me the preview was eating up too much memory and I needed to change the settings.

Why didn't it just change the settings, put up a dialog or prompt saying what happened, and then switch back after. Instead I had to change the setting and reslice the model. Not impressed.

huh, interesting joe. i have never seen this dialogue box or warning in a year and a half of printing. i feel the need to slice up something with many complex items just to see.

How much RAM does your computer have, and how much slicing had you done since you last started S3D? It has a memory leak (at least on the Mac side, never tried it under Windows) that uses and doesn't release RAM whenever you slice something. I typically leave it running for days at a time, until it gets up to 8GB used or so, then I quit and restart.
