Z axis not lifting enough between layers

Hi..

I have a RepRapPro Ormerod 2, with my own made FFF file..

I having some problems with layers, and printhead is constantly touching down item while printing.
Is there somewhere in the printer proccesses i can config that...
When i use Slic3er with the same STL, it prints fine layers, with good space..
But Simplify3D has better rendering and details, but it looks like crap, because it
touching down all the way..

Where can i adjust the layer lift of the printerhead?

Re: Z axis not lifting enough between layers

Click "edit process settings", choose Extruders tab, and then increase the "Retraction vertical lift" value. That will make sure that the nozzle lifts up each time it retracts.

You may also want to click on the Advanced tab, and disable the "only retract when crossing open spaces" option so that the retracts (and lifts) happen more frequently.
