I think this is actually a BUG, as this happens to me as well however, not when my monitor falls asleep (haven't tried it) but when the Simplify3D screen is not visible on the screen. For example, right now as I am typing this I am printing something on my makerbot replicator 1 (Yosemite) and the picture is how I have to have my screen setup at all times on the side or the printer intermittently pauses and sometimes causes that plastic buildup killing the print. I had emailed support and asked them if they could replicate the problem on their end, but they said they could not, not sure if they actually did it, so I don't think this will get fixed anytime soon until enough people make a fuss about it. :evil:

For what it's worth, I also cannot replicate what you are describing. If I hide the machine control panel completely, either minimized or behind other windows, the print keeps going just fine

Yes that's it, that's what happens.

If I also minimise or cover the s3d window the print stops shortly afterwards. Maker ware does not do this.

wish i had something more useful i could tell you guys but you are the only two i have every heard of with this issue.....not that i am support or anything. just referring to people posting here on the board. i can remember if this was mentioned but is this off usb, sd or both?

no its only via usb. I normally use SD so i only found out about the problem recently.
