This is 100% a SOPHOS issue and not S3D! I was fighting the exact same issues for weeks!
If you can`t manage the IT department, you might just check the setting "properties" in sophos!
You can select a box there to dissable sophos for 4 hours + deselect all functions.
This will fix the issues for at least 4 hours ;).

Attention: All your settings/changes in settings won´t be stored/saved in the profile or taken into the gcode when Sophos is active!

Thank you. It's confirmed that SOPHOS is the main issue and I'm arranging with my IT department to set up a special filter for me.

Hello, I have the same problem here. Unfortunately, my IT is not able to set the appropriate exceptions. Is there a specific setting that needs to be made? Disabling Sophos in general is not an option.
