Hi I am having same issue now with the new 3.1.0 release
Have internet access and one copy on my production PC and one on my laptop.
Contacted support who told me to look at my account settings on their website.
I did and it shows 2 computer installs.
I have uninstalled it completely on my PC and only have one install going on my Laptop.
It started with a msg saying can't contact activation server approximately 2-3 weeks prior to latest update/release.
When 3.1.0 came I uninstalled on my PC and downloaded and installed 3.1.0 but after entering my login credentials it comes up with Activation Failed and error code (Code1008c)

After I uninstalled 3.02 it was still showing 2 instances on my account (????)
I then deleted the instance that should have gone away and tried again but no luck.
I now installed win on another HDD but on same computer and it works fine.
After activating it my account shows 2 installs and after deactivating it it goes back to 1 (perfect)
BUT I need it back on my original drive where I have all my other software running.

Not sure what is going on apart from that my business is now crippled for a few days...hopefully not more.

Any ideas. (Not too interested in reinstalling win and all software)

Have contacted support and waiting for reply.

EDIT: Now I am starting to get same issue with my laptop as well. I can't deactivate current install. Something must be totally wrong with my account/license server.
