In addition to the dense upper support to create the raft, increasing the outline overlap % in the "Infill" tab helped my curved overhangs. While the setting is to ensure the infill overlaps with the perimeter, it seems to help overlap overall.
If you're not concerned with fitment, you can try to increase the extrusion multiplier to again help overlap with adjacent perimeters.
