Fair enough.CompoundCarl wrote:As has been said many times, this is a user forum. If you want to ask their developers about the next update, you need to email them directly: https://www.simplify3d.com/contact-us/

I have emailed them many times too, however they will say nothing about a release date for an update. Unless you actually see an update, I fail to see how it is "clear" they are actively working on it. You have no real proof of it, Unless of course you have access to beta versions. Its pretty easy for a developer to say "yep all good, its coming along nicely" when in reality nothing is happening at all.CompoundCarl wrote:As has been said many times, this is a user forum. Put your post in the script, and it will be transparent. My biggest wish is to finally not have to post process my gcode for printing to smoothie...
Good luck with that. Mere public mention of the issue sends Arthur Wolf into a major snit.tenaja wrote: And, in the meantime, hound smoothie to fix their choking problem.
I would have to agree even if the developers can't commit to saying there will be an update 'soon' (next month, 2 months, 6 months!?), they should target scheduled releases. Much like google does, or for poor updates we could follow Microsoft with 'Patch Tuesday' which adds 0 features for the user.bilsch wrote:One thing I would like to see is a roadmap of sorts. What is being worked on/planned for future releases. Even something non-committal would be nice to see.
