Yup, something like that is exactly what I'm looking for too.

In addition to being able to have more than 45/-45 and concentric for top and bottom layers

I would like an option for top/bottom layers to print at 0/90 degrees (in addition to 45/-45 degrees).

+1 on this for sure.

As a new S3D user, this is one of my biggest issues. I'm struggling to get good surface finish with S3D on small items (Keychains to be specific)

Default Cura settings = great finish
Hours of tweaking S3D settings = moderate results

yeah I know... broken record. I have the exact same beef. I have been struggling with a relatively simple series of models (floors of a building) but they have multiple flat top surfaces and each of the 9 models are different. S3D support went back to the multiple processes standard reply.. .ugh. I would have to determine layers and heights and create processes 9 x (at least) 3 for this job. I am up to 6 solid top layer and 25% infill on a 150 x 600mm print (various layers between 2mm and 22 mm) and it's still not solid... more infill and you can imagine the time and material (it's already 1 kg)

I did some manual screwing about and even the simplest adjustment would help for example with 4 top layers if I do 2 super quickly - it looks crappy BUT it bridges nicely enough to provide a superb base for layers 3 and 4... I also don't understand what other slicers are doing because I have NEVER had this issue with any of MakerBot's sliced models... I should NOT need to have 6+ layers (at 0.3mm) and still not have a solid surface. even at 10-15% infill.

Soooo... +1 (many times?)

Don't understand why this would not be an option.

Add one more person who really would love this option.
