Re: Zits.

If your seeing it on that mode then you have other issues. The filament is wet or your way over extruding. Check your filament diameter is set right and your multiplier.

Re: Zits.

I don't see it on corkscrew mode. Like Jimc said, check your multiplier and filament diameter. Maybe check your temp to, could be to hot.

Re: Zits.

Two things.

One - turn off random infill and layer change. Then also set perimeter printing to 1200 ideally, or up to 1800.

Listen to me now and believe me later.

Re: Zits.

Vinny1575, do you happen to have FFF Settings->Extruder->"Extra Restart Distance" set to something >0? That will certainly put a zit at the start of a perimeter too.

Re: Zits.

Do you happen to have a better photo you could post?

Might it be retract speed related? Meaning, if you have retract speed set too high, you might be developing a little back pressure in the hot end that then relaxes and produces a zit. I would suggest a reasonable retract speed but my brain doesn't work in mm/min yet. Something like 20mm/s should be a good ball park though. The same speed is used to prime as retract, possibly leading to an "ooze zit™".

You sure you did it? I don't see how it can't work.

I just printed this:

Yep I did exactly what you said. Do you have a zipper of zits on one side?

Re: Zits.

There is a seam on one side.

Zits look bad because they are random defects. Every injection-molded part has a seam and that is much less objectionable.
