Could someone share the profile with me, having the same issue.

This profile has been added to the software for Version 4.1! You can get this profile by going to Help > Configuration Assistant and then select Flashforge Guider II.

You may find some of the items in the start and end scripts do not work correctly and will need to be remarked out.

I know our team has been in contact with you about this profile before and we have this printer in our office. What part of the starting/ending scripts are not working for you? Also which firmware version is your Guider II loaded with?

The lighting is one item I remember off hand. When it is set to change the color for heating it shuts the lighting off and you have to get back to the settings menu to turn it back on.

Is yours a II or IIs?


I was on the second to most recent firmware. Beware of the WIFI updating of firmware. I tried it per advice from FF and it hung and bricked the printer. Now I have to buy a $400 board to get the printer running again. Update via USB stick is the most reliable.

The lighting command: "M146 r255 g0 b0 ; Set lights to red while preheating" definitely sets the lights to red on our machine. We have the II in our office.

It kills the lights on mine. Then you have to go back to the settings menu and turn the lights off then back on for them to work again.

I have updated everything and selected the guider II in the software. It still is not working.

Light on my guider 2 also goes off when heating starts. Furthermore sometimes when I say print via usb the printer receives the file but doesn’t start printing and no matter what I do I cannot resent to the printer not even via flashprint. I have to turn the printer off and then on again later to print anything. Only happens when s3d sents via usb.

I agree why doesn't anyone share their profile settings. it seems everybody just redirects. or says oh its in the help deal.
so ive tweeked the stock settings barely and still frustrated. i did a temp tower and found the best temp. ive reset the level on the bed 9384798723467587234659 times. but when i use cura its good. but here i have simplify that i paid for and i cant get anything worth a crap
