Has anyone emailed the S3D support?

Posting on here will not guarantee a response from the support staff. This is a USER forum.....not an official support forum!

I wasn't able to find anyone complaining about this issue prior to March of this year. The latest version of S3D had already been out for several months at that point, so it is mostly likely due to some recent Windows update.

You might want to refer to this thread on this similar topic for ideas:

For anyone having this issue, here's what I would do:
1) follow the instructions in the link above to post the exact version of Windows you are using. That may help identify what exact Windows update caused the problem.
2) you could also try doing a fresh install by removing any saved settings or files using the instructions here:

I have not yet received a response from my official request for help from Simplify3D, but following the instructions provided by rrdavis on how to do a fresh install with removing the registry entries and the local app data has solved the issue for me.

Thank you sir!.

S3d solved the concern in record time after a help ticket.
I had to view hidden files in windows.

Hello Warren,

Thank you for your question. I am happy to help. Please try deleting the savedState.factory file in the following directory:

C:/Users/%USERNAME%/AppData/Local/Simplify3D/S3D-Software

Please let me know if this allows you to use the software again.

Regards,

Hey Guys,

I got this response from S3D support and it worked for me, begin with completely uninstalling S3D, then follow these steps to scour the registry information and installation profile.
