thanks again, I'm slowing making strides with your input and I truly appreciate your help.

Here are the nut and bolt files.. I'm still unable to get them to thread together after print. Its definitely a resolution issue now.

I'm going to try some of the suggestions in the last few posts.

Also, is everyone testing this using the original nozzle from the CubeX? I've been reading up on the E3D v6 nozzles and I'm going to consider using them.. but want to make sure I've reached the limit of the current nozzle first. Does anyone have any experience with upgrading their nozzles?

So what your saying is.. the CubeX hot end is crap? If so, I completely agree with you!!

Was the hot end upgrade difficult? I've seen some videos online, but they just show assembly of the hot end not the actual install on the Cube. What kind of modifications did you have to do on the Cube itself to accept the new hot end? Did you order the hotend from E3D or is there a distributor in the U.S.?

the upgrade is very easy if you get it from .cubexupgrade...it has an aluminium adaptor a different value termister and made to plus into the cubex from France.. I am making my own for the 2nd extruder . the guy who does it is very active contributor in the kisslicer forum..nice guy.
the cubex hot end isn't crap..just thus one is MUCH better

that z-relocator is much more reasonable and easier to install.

Have you had a chance to print the screw and nut files?

Thanks again.
