Re: Removed Supports still being generated and printed

It seems this thread has gotten a bit off topic, so just to clarify, here are the guidelines for how things work:

If you want to include support structures for your model, click "Edit Process Settings" and make sure that the "Generate Support" checkbox is enabled. Now the software knows that you want supports, but you can still choose which type you want - automatic, manual, or a combination of both.

1) Automatic Supports - This is the default that will be used if you don't make any other changes. Like it says on the Supports tab, automatic supports are used when there are no manual supports defined. So if you don't add any manual supports or you remove all of your manual supports, then automatic support will be generated.

2) Manual Supports - To add manual supports, go to Tools > Customize Support Structures. There is a video explaining this feature at the link below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tlrCpwAV4M

3) Combination of Automatic and Manual - This is probably already clear if you watched the video, but you can also add a combination of automatic and manual supports. To do this, open the Customize Support Structures window, click "Generate Automatic Supports" to add the automatic supports, and then you can manually add or remove more supports as needed.

Finally, if you do NOT want any supports to be included for your model, then click "Edit Process Settings" and disable the "Generate Support" checkbox. If you need to print some models with supports and others without support, then you can setup multiple processes for each of these models so that you can configure the support options correctly.
