Still looking for those Tree/organic supports to be native in Simplify3d team.

Version 5.1.2 is over two years old now. There are occasional rumblings that Version 6 is in the works, but based on how "quickly" Version 5 came out, I'm not holding my breath. Lets just say that if Version 6 DOESN'T have tree supports, I won't pay for yet another "update" that is missing an important feature like this.

Agreed 100%. I had to switch to another slicer, a FREE one, because I needed to print something that had to have supports, but had to be tree supports because of the type of object. It printed beautifully and flawlessly, but could not have happened with tree supports. Makes me wonder why I still use Simplify3d if they won't support something as commonplace as tree supports.

Three things you can add and I (at least) will not need to use CURA again.
1) TREE SUPPORTS
2) First layer flow control setting.
3) Octoprint and Duet direct network support.

be well,

How many years have we asked for this and gotten no more than breadcrumbs?
Too many.
Cura can do tree supports, but asking CURA to do anything is like asking what time it is and having someone explain how to build a clock. Just sayin'.

be well,
DLC

+1 For tree support.

S3D Jason, is there any development in the works regarding this?
