2.1 Manual support placement not working

Upgraded to 2.1 and noticed the manual support placement is broken

I got this info for a Mac Retina fix:
On your Mac, from Finder (before opening the software), go to Applications > Simplify3D-2.1.0, then right click on the Simplify3D icon and choose Get Info. Then enable the option that says "Open in Low Resolution".
You'll still have plenty of monitor clarity, but the mouse and cursor will be synced and those supports will move around with your cursor like they should.
