Is there a way to continue print from a power outage? If so, please help! and thank you.

Thats more of a FW/hardware thing, not a slicer thing. Look up to see if your printer supports power outage resume.

That would be an interesting feature, it's a reality in firmwares like marlin and in printers like the prusa.

For sailfish I could do something, but without the correct hardware it will make no sense. And there is no guarantee that it will work as it should.

A different reason my print stopped - this is How I continued the print…

Total Estimated print time 8 hrs. During the second hour, the print stopped due to a thermistor coming loose from print head. This is how I continued the print (which, will also work for a power outage)…

(Note: I print from sdCard, not usb)

1). Measured distance from print-bed to the top of the partially printed part. Removed the part from printer.

2). In Simplify, changed the Z height (to bury the part below the bed the distance I measured.

3). Generated a new print gcode file and printed it.

4). Glued the two halves together.

Sure, some mated-edge and glue clean-up required but I intended to paint it anyway (using this approach https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vgynnY ... gs=pl%2Cwn ) and this saved two hours and 20 meters of Filament.
