Need a Brim

Hi. I'm brand new to S3D. I want to print my Lithophane (3D business card) It's really thin and I want to try to print it vertical So I'm going to need a brim to keep it standing up. I searched for Brim here and all the posts are from 2017. Looking in the advanced process, I see skirt and raft, no brim. Brim and Skirt re together but I'm lost there. Someone mentioned a raft setting at 1? eeks!

Can someone help me please?

Thanks
Allen

Re: Need a Brim

Allen,

I remember long ago when I transitioned to S3D. I too couldn't find the brim setting. This post helped me learn how to use the skirt settings to make brims. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2100

Re: Need a Brim

And a quick fact before you dash off and read the above referenced thread......a brim is a skirt with no separation distance. :)
