Simplify3D User Forum

Hi, I'm fairly new to 3D printing and have been using Simplify3D for a while with excellent results. Last night I started a print job that would run overnight and complete this morning. All was running smoothly and I went to bed. Unfortunately sometime during the night my system decided to restart. I suspect it was a windows update as when I logged on I saw a message regarding an update and sure enough windows updated which probably triggered a reboot. So I awoke with a print about 80% complete. I'm wondering if it is possible to restart the print from where it left off. Is there a log file which tells me precisely where it stopped and can I use power of the multiple process feature to restart the print? I would hate to have to restart this 12 hour print.

Well, I figured it out. Not too difficult really. I removed the partially finished piece and measured the height with digital calipers. I then double clicked on the model to bring up the settings panel and set the Z offset in the negative direction using the height I obtained from the calipers. Hit the prepare to Print button and I was in good to go.
