HI,
I'm using Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS and latest Simplify3D version.
And this is what I see when I launch it:
simplify_black_screen.jpeg
I can click on the menu and it will appear.
I can open the Settings dialog, this works fine.
But not the main window and not the next screen after I pres ... Print ? button.

How can I fix it ?

Do you need any other information?

thanks,
Dima

Code: Select all

libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
libGL error: unable to load driver: i965_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so

Does it help ?

At least you made it that far. I'm unable to even launch Simplify3D in kubuntu 18.04. it fails to sign in.

DRM hurting the legit users :(

Yeah, like, why would you buy it if it even doesn't run on Linux as they say ?
I wonder why there is no any reaction from the developers/support team.
Like they are not interested in customer issues.

Guys

May I draw your attention to the fact that this forum is a "user forum" and not a "support forum". Yes, it is provided and funded by Simplify3D, but it is not regularly trawled by S3D support staff and used as a prime means of customer support.

If you really are looking for a response from the support team, then you need to use the "Contact Us" page: https://www.simplify3d.com/contact-us/

The support team may see this thread in passing...but there's guarantee.
