Negative scale - is it possible?

In Repetier, its possible to flip an object, i.e. create a mirror image, by entering a "-1" for the object scale along the desired axis.
In Simplify3D, the scale input for an object doesn't allow a minus sign. (double click the object to open the scale, offset etc. window)
Is there any way to make this possible?
TIA,
/RS

Hello
just enter a digit. For example to have the object half size, just enter 0.5 into the field.
For me that works.
Best regards
Chris

The problem is the minus sign (e.g. -1), in my installation (English language, Swedish keyboard) pressing any of the minus keys results in nothing... coming to think of it, I'll change that to English/English when I get home to see if that's the problem. Are you able to type in a negative value in the scale box?

+1 for this feature. I've modeled several parts that need a right/left version and I always have to do it in my modeling program and re-export the mirrored part. Would be very nice to just re-save the gcode with the scale flipped instead.

When creating CAD models, I just mirror it in Solidworks and create a left/right. This only takes about 30 seconds. However, with that said, this could be an interesting feature.
