I am getting the pattern on my 90 degree walls. Ive been googling with no success as to finding others with the same problem. What would this be called so I can find how to fix it? Or better does anyone know a fix for it? Its on all sides so I don't think its wobble but I could be wrong.

Thanks!

Have you tried changing the settings in Simplify3D or checking your machine in areas mentioned here? https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... nd-ringing

It looks like a Moire pattern and on your could be a bit of over extrusion.

Google Moire pattern on 3d to get more info.

I think this is it. Im using a PowerSpec Duplicator I3 Plus (Wanhao sold at Microcenter) and it's popping up a lot in the stuff I find associated with Moire. Guess Ill try one of those TL Smoother's people talk about and see how it goes.

I think this is it. I'm using one of the DUplicator I3 Plus variants and this is a known problem evidently. I ordered a TL Smoother so we'll see hot it looks after I get it this weekend.

Thanks!

Wow! I just installed the TL smoother and ran a test print. It made an incredible difference. Original on the left, and the new test with smoother installed on the right. Thanks again!

I've also been testing a TL and so far pretty good results.

Now, the TL will only help with certain stepper drivers so some research is advised.

Also, if you can manually adjust the stepper current then that is something to research also as it can help with this issue.
