Multiple Process Scripts

I have a part that I'm using multiple (2) processes on. While it's printing, I can tell that it's going from one process to the next because the secondary fan shuts off for a brief time. The print continues, but the part doesn't get cooled, and has a small section that looks slightly different. The extruder fan does stay on. This got me wondering if I should have modified or removed the ending script of the first process, and the beginning script of the second process. I've only had my printer for a little over a week - so I'm pretty new to all this. Anyone have any experience or an opinion on this?

By the way, It seems strange that you have to pay this much for quality software, only to discover that the only real source of documentation is a forum with a not-so-great search function. Especially for a total noob like me.

And the forum is also pretty dead. Hopefully it will pick up.

No. That will not make a difference.

When doing prints with multiple processes, only the Starting G-Code script of the first used process runs. Simplify3D doesn't run more than 1 Starting G-code script during a print. Likewise, only the Ending G-Code of the last used process is run.

The cooling section of each process is what you want to look at. One probably is turning on the fan and the other is turning it off.

I attempted a 2-process print but noticed a prominent seam (a couple of layers extending beyond the ideal surface of the model) where the first process ended and the second began. I rechecked all the settings I changed in both processes but couldn't see where the problem was occurring. I'll try it again with this in mind.

Re: Multiple Process Scripts

I have run into a seam appearing when I accidentally set the "Start Printing At" and "Stop Printing At" settings to overlap by 1 layer, causing the first process to stop, and then the next process to start on the same layer. This caused a very noticeable seam. Make sure these values aren't overlapping.
