Hi
I am trying to figure out why all my models seem to load as "inches" (i think inches) .... I need them all to be MM - Attached photo

How can I change this in the simplify3d software, I dont see an option for it.... and the prompt window never pops up anymore.

Basically i need to resize these, in order to do so I have to figure out using a few math equations lol.... would much rather all my files to show in MM like they are supposed to be

Thanks

go into preferences and change the unit system to mm. also under models there is a box to choose if you want to automatically scale to correct unit system or not.

Hmm looks like it was already set to MM, but Prompting was off. When I load the model it is a bit big so I need to reduce its size, but its still saying 25.4 for object scaling...... I want it to say 100, so its easier for me to scale ( need it scaled to 35%) so .35 would do it.... right now where its 25.4, I have to take .254 and multiply x 35 to get the 35%.... bit of an inconvenience that's all, I want to "Simplify" :)

If you model in inches like i do then no matter what it will need to scale it 25.4 to get it to mm. Take the stl before you bring it into s3d and scale it to mm first. It takes 2 sec in netfabb to do this or do it in your cad software when you export.

Thanks, I don't actually design my models (would love to learn how). I will pass this along to my designer.
