I miss settings for the communication panel.

For example, to hide sent commands and periodic confirmations.

I would be pleased to see this feature in future

There is now a verbose checkbox that you can enable or disable to prevent showing things like sent commands and temperature polling if you don't want to see it. That way it will only show the most crucial responses from the printer.
