Slicer taking away certain part.

Hey guys. I've got a model that for some reason I cannot print because when it gets sliced, it removes a few layers.

Can someone help me figure out what to change, or will I need to redo the model?

This is quite common with irregular meshes. Below are a few tips which may help.

1. Try Mesh > Separate Connected Surfaces

2. Also, Importing the STL into Windows' 3D Builder then exporting should trigger their automated repair feature. Import back into S3D and your model shouldn't be missing layers when you slice.

Re: Slicer taking away certain part.

Unfortunately neither of these fixed the issue. Any other ideas?

Even setting my extrusion width to something stupid low like 0.1 mm does nothing, the lines are still missing after slicing.

EDIT: It's an issue with my model. .05 mm puts the lines back, so the model is just too thin there.
