profile data: storage place?

Hi,
I have edited a lot of different profiles. To say one for each filament-type, I own.
Now I am thinking about a harddisk crash and loosing this in worst case.
Does anybody know, where these different profiles are stored?
I read somewhere, that they are stored in the registry, but opening the matching path, I only see the actual chosen profile.
