Simplify3D User Forum

This is a formal request for the feature where the raft extruder may be selected by drop-down box. This would ideally be done in a similar way to how the 'Infill' and 'supports' have drop-down selection options for the extruder that produces them.

+1, this is very useful.

+1. Trying to do this now with dissolvable material on other extruder. Frustrating.

+1. I can use it to change extrusion multiplier for raft only. It will make raft adhere better to the platform.

Seemed pretty obvious to me that whatever extruder you select for support should be the extruder used for raft. I was surprised to find that wasn't the case. So either add independent extruder control for raft or at least link it to the support extruder.

This is a pretty basic ability that I'm surprised was missed. This program has a ton more settings
in a human readable format than any other program I've tried (that worked), so why not have a
setting to choose which extruder prints the raft?

New user of Simplify3D by the way, and I LOVE the improvement in quality of the prints and the
ease of making adjustments over Makerware. Very happy with the purchase.

Absolutely a must....

The ability to choose the raft extruder was added in version 2.2
