Flashforge Homing problem with 2.1.1

The previous S3D homes to the right corner near the front of the build plate.

2.1.1 homes to the left corner near the front of the build plate. I use the right extruder and the extruder is off the plate.
when it starts printing the nozzle is not on the plate when purging. No "teardrop" and the extruded filament is dragged to the build plate

I always though this teardrop was fault of the homing system, and the head should prime off the table and perform a "wipe" as it moves to the print area. That's what I was told, usually when my printer blobs on the plate it either skips or the plate bounces as the head rips over the blob.

the problem is that it doesn't wipe. It now drags a long string of cooled filament onto the plate.

What is good is how makerware wipes across the plate

That whole this is set up in your starting gcode script. If it doesnt wipe then add a line of code there to make it do whatever you want. I dont have a ff but my makegear moves off the bed, extrudes 20mm of filament then uses the edge of the bed to wipe the purge off then it will start running my model.

That's how I'm told it's supposed to work, I however get the blob. I could change the homing presets and make it do the correct thing, but I can't be bothered. As it works as is. I'm sure this issue in the machine profile for my printer (read bug) will get fixed eventually, but it's not a show stopper. For clarity I would like to make it clear I'm running 2.1.0 can't get 2.1.1 to launch.

I do, it's not worth my time to fix it. Sure it's an annoyance and should not happen, read product test prior to release, BUT it's not a show stopper. I was more concerned with the failure to purge the correct tool bug.

Not sure what you were trying to do by making the text large, but each to their own lol.

the staring and ending scripts are your own. s3d throws a quick something in there as a default but its up to the operator to set that up how they like it.
