model not printing in as one part

I have tried printing this model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43488) in S3d and cant get it to slice properly, every time I try slicing it it is spit in half. I found this thread(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43488) while searching, sadly when i tell s3d to merge meshes it fills in the center hole as well. I tried merging the meshes in solidworks but could not get it to save as a stl(would error with improper geometry).

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm a bit confused, are you trying to take the two propellors and merge them together into a single unit?

It seems to have a lot of problems.
Each blade and hub are separate meshes. That would probably be okay but there are a lot of errors in the meshes. You see some of them just by looking at the bottom around the hub.
Here is one of the sets of blades with the hub removed and you can see more of the problems.

Festus the model sliced perfectly for me. Did not know there were so many mesh errors in it
