I recently updated program.
Went to print
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2131081
Quick_Draw_Cover_Top_Mana_insert_V4 is the file that seems to be having the issue.
i do not know if this is a file issue or a slicer issue.
I loaded everything in and got my settings right, then sliced it, but its not slicing all of it.
see photos.
I am not sure what is going on here. even on the print bed, it did the outline of the entire part but did not print.

I wish I got £5 for every time I have advised this on the forum.....I'd be rich!

Use the Separate Connected Surfaces option on the Mesh dropdown menu. The stl has got many separate meshes within it....and S3D for some reason cannot correctly handle them. Using the option separates each mesh out to its own separate definition....you'll see that by the number of entries in the model list go berserk!

And DO NOT do a Centre & Arrange after the operation. You'll regret it!

thank you. it was starting to upset me. i ended up using 2 different slicers that both sliced it find without another option being used. and the fact i paid for S3D and it was not working well caused some choice words. but now i know how to fix this issue. it also fixed the issue of the disconnections inside of the print. i wish i would have known about this months ago when i printed a 70 hour print that fell to pieces once it came off the build plate because of the same problem. :D

The option was added to the software in v3.0.0 in response to a request for meshes to be separated so they can be worked in independently...…..and then I discovered this amazing side-effect of the option where with the meshes separated out, the slicer could do its job properly.

Here's my first post on the subject: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3096&p=13400&hilit= ... ces#p13400

And my finding has helped countless S3D users since then.....

Uninformed newbie here. Doug helped me with the Separate Connected Surfaces option (Thank you for that and here is a cyber dollar :) ). But even separating meshes I have parts that S3D will Simply not print. Odd anomalies still show up. I take the same file and load it into Cura and it displays and prints it properly. I'd like to settle on one slicer but find I have to retain both.
