Simplify3D User Forum

Hi Guys,

I am using simplify 3D to print sequentially parts. Currently, my printer beeps before the print starts and after it finishes by using a custom starting script and ending script:

M115 U3.0.7 ; tell the printer latest firmware version available
G28 W ; home all without mesh bed level
G80 ; mesh bed levelling
M300 S2000 P5000 ; Play a Beep
G1 Y-3.0 F1000.0 ; go outside printing area
G1 X60.0 E9.0 F1000.0 ; intro line
G1 X100.0 E12.5 F1000.0 ; intro line

I would like this to happen in between continuous parts (Start Print, Beep! end part1 Beep!, end part 2 Beep! end part 2 Beep! etc etc..)
Does anyone know of a staright forward way to do this?

Have a look through the gcode and find a common line of gcode at the start of each component.....then use a post-processing REPLACE to insert the required gcode line.

Never done it myself....but it looks as if its quite easy to do.....
