Simplify3D User Forum

Hi, just purchased, downloaded and installed. First run got the "Program has stopped working.

OS is Windows 8.1 64bit.

Tried various compatibility settings and run as admin, etc. No joy.

Any ideas? Known issue? I've only got Win8.1 machines, so can't test on an alternative platform unfortunately.

I had this issue on my first install, as well. Windows 7. For my issue, the program would usually crash.
And it was due to not have the newest graphics driver installed for my machine.
That got me a little further. Next I ended up having to disable the automatic g-code preview to get things working.
It turned out to be a hardware issue, where my graphics card was overheating.
Luckily I was still under warranty and that has been replaced and now it works fine.
