I just read, we both mean the same.
I am also of the opinion that the quality of the pressure would be significantly improved since the nozzle after each round moves diagonally across the object, creating voids. These could save this traversing whereby the entire pressure period would shorten.
This is really a problem with Bowden system having to perform hundred retracts per layer. It is really painful to watch the nozzle move 200mm because the software decided it needed to extrude a few mm of plastic on the opposite side of print and come right back.

omg !!! this is so important !!! I was printing a lot of extruded text,
and the slicer made an unbelievable amount of unnecessary moves,
it would be much faster and the letters perimeters would be so much
cleaner if the head didn't make so many moves to draw parts of many
other letters before even finishing the first letter....
