Infill border

Hello,
I am looking for a feature which creates a border for the top layers. To explain, sometimes when there is another object that is higher than the main infill and the top layers start to print, the top layer creates the border for that object. What happens in reality is that if the infill is low (the lower the worst it become), it has no edge to catch the filament to, and it just "falls" leaning on the infill wherever it is. This can be fixed if the slicer will add a perimeter that the filament will be able to "catch" when extruding.

Is there anywhere an option for that ?

Thanks,
Stas.

Thanks for your feature suggestion!

This is a common issue with prints that lack sufficient infill and numbers of top solid layers. More tips on solving this issue can be found at the link below.

Can you possibly provide more information about the type of fix you're suggesting here? It's possible someone has suggested something similar before but We'll need more information to know for sure.
