Overhang Degree Threshold

In the same way that you can define what above a certain degree supports should be created. I would like to see an option to set above what degree an angle would then be classified as an bridge/overhang. The setting for "unsupported area threshold" only goes down to 5 and it's not very intuitive. Right now it looks locked at 60 degree using the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2656594 model. Allowing the changing of this angle would let me apply my bridge settings to other angles and given the different materials, would allow for better detail and shallower angles.

Re: Overhang Degree Threshold

Have you tried enabling the "Apply bridging settings to perimeters" option in the Other tab?

Yeah that's on, but only if Simplify3D thinks they are bridges will it apply those settings.

Re: Overhang Degree Threshold

This is correct. The area threshold does still come into play. If you scale the test model so that it elongates the overhang portions to be much longer (creating more unsupported area) you can make it so that the 50, 45, or even the 30 degree section picks up the bridging settings. So is your request such that the minimum be less than 5 for the unsupported area threshold?
